Jockey Danny Nikolic has been warned off Australian racecourses for nearly two years after the Racing and Appeals Disciplinary Board found the jockey guilty of improper conduct charges.
Nikolic is free to re-apply for his jockey’s licence from October 1 2015 after the tribunal outed the jockey for two years over this conduct towards steward Wade Hadley at the VCAT hearing into charges of threatening behaviour against towards chief steward Terry Bailey late last year. The former leading jockey pleaded guilty to today’s charges. Nikolic clashed with Bailey on 29 November last year. The penalty applies until 30 September 2015.
