Robbie Laing To Face Positive Swab Charge

Trainer Robbie Laing will face the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board to answer a charge over a positive swab returned by Polanski after the colt won a race at Caulfield.

A urine sample taken from the Laing-trained Polanski he won on May 25 detected the banned substance Phenylbutazone, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory.

The trainer has also been charged with failing to keep treatment records for Polanski.

A date for the hearing has yet to be fixed.
